Thread: Time Limit on Renaming Accounts ?

Hi, Although my title basically says it all, let me just expand upon it. I recently upgraded to a full account and saw the opportunity to rename the account. I'd like to wait a bit (perhaps a very long time) to see if the account with my present username becomes a spam magnet or not. Only if it does would I consider renaming the account and making the present username an alias or even ...

This is not an official answer: I have renamed accounts after a few months of registering an address. Fastmail have also allowed me to rename more than once (when I sent a request to support) I really doubt they would refuse any reasonable request of a paying customer.

I upgraded in 2004 and haven't renamed. The option to rename is still there in the interface. So I guess if there's a limit it's more than 4 years!

I think I was a Full member for about 3 years before I used the rename option. So yep, you've got some time (like the other said).

I upgraded in 2004 and haven't renamed. The option to rename is still there in the interface. So I guess if there's a limit it's more than 4 years!

I think I was a Full member for about 3 years before I used the rename option. So yep, you've got some time (like the other said).
