Thread: Throttle recoil

Just got the 08 R1 and since rode my mates bike, exact same model. I noticed something, the throttle control on mine is much stiffer? it's not catching/binding and it snaps back well it's almost as if the return spring on the throttle bodies is much stronger? It means I have to grip the bar a lot tighter to hold it in position. My mates bike is much easier to control Anyone have any ...

Just duct tape it open and slip the clutch to control speed.
