Throttle Body seals/o-rings Hey, guys. A) Does anyone have the break down of the throttle body? B) I am about to replace all the seals/o-rings, and I would like to know where to get all of them. OEM? Home Depot? Thanks, T

They looked a tad big but I hit them in with a socket and it seems to run fine, BUT I haven't pressure tested since then. Re: Throttle Body seals/o-rings I'd look into Viton o-rings instead of rubber ones. I bought some for pretty cheap from smallparts.com a little while ago but never got around to putting them on.

I just bought a cheap-o o-ring kit from Princess Auto and replaced the seals as described above. The seals have held up fine now for a few years boosting to 25+ psi with methanol.

I just did this today. Used O-Rings from my harbor freight "Metric O-Ring Assortment" kit. Did a boost pressure test and they held up fine. As to their longevity, I have no idea at this time. Altho I have used them before without issue. For anyone looking to do this, it really is easy and Id recommend it to anyone who has never taken their TB apart and gave it a good cleaning. I was ...

just go with the real deal, it'll be worth it in the long run STM - MIL.SPEC EVO VIII-IX / 91-99 DSM THROTTLE BODY SHAFT SEALS

Thanks everyone for your contribution. I can't believe there's only two seals in the throttle body. I thought there were more, but I guess not. One metal gasket (between tb and plenum) and 2 shaft seals.

Dont forget to clean your ISC!!! i took mine apart, cleaned it, lubed it...and it definitely idles much smoother now. Just a tip

To replace them just take off the TB, mark the position of the TPS on the TB and take it off, take off...
