Thread: Three cheers for Kareem

Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by USNR
Tonight Kareem Abdul-Jabbar talked about his form of leukemia. He was a guest on the Keith Olbermann hour. Kareem, a very private person, made an excellent presentation of his own life experience. It took a lot of courage on his part -- and I say three cheers for Kareem! Knowledge is power in the fight against cancer, no matter which form it takes.

I love that man. Great human being who happened to be a great basketball player. And he used to have a place on Kauai.
