I have never played Metal Gear Acid and I never will because that game is not part of the regular storyline. You have to play the games in this order to complete the entire story from beginning to end: 1. Metal Gear Solid 3 2. Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops 3. Metal Gear - Only available on disc 2 of the regular version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Substance 4. Metal Gear 2 - Only available on ...

Metal Gear AC!D and Metal Gear AC!D 2 are very good games I would buy them all if I were you Do not listen to all of these people that say 'ZOMG AC!DZ SUXXXXXX!!111on3' because it really doesn't They're a very well made set of games and their storylines are well executed AC!D games are for strategists, obviously all of these 'die-hard' fans don't have strategy and try to run in with brainless...

when i first got ac!d2 i found it quite fun and played on it for months and it is well thought out n has a nice storyline but the main things id say is you have to think of metal gear in a sorta yu gi oh or pokemon card style of play where snake is your only pokemon n the cards give him his attacks which must be well thought out during missions as triggering alert can be abit of un needed hassle...

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater/Subsistence Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Metal Gear Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake (Subsistence version has replaced art to connect to later games. Canon) Metal Gear Solid (Twin Snakes contradicts script, logic, and events. Not canon) Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty/Substance Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots That is the official story and ANY MGS ...

why do we need a time line for just asking which game you think is better out of acid series and portable ops series

Linalnverse replied 1 year, 3 months ago
Because if it's not in the official timeline despite being made by the same groups of people...they refuse to play it. That or they're afraid of games using cards.

I don't see why, all Metal Gear games are awesome lol If they think it's going to be bad then they should re-think what they are thinking... The graphics and gameplay in the AC!D games are much better than PO The controls in PO are horrible...

i dont agree about the graphics as portable ops seems alot better with them but the acids cell shaded look is quite cool, and with the timeline thingy ive not played a single game in order i played sons of liberty first then the psone game and just got em as i saw fit i think what you gotta think about is - the metal gea series is a hugely immense storyline spanning multi games but with the addition on the PSP in the console market they are...
