Yes I'm saying we took a step back. We won 95 games, had NL lead on the league for over half the season. Now if we had competed with Philly, took them to 7 games and lost. Then I'd say ok .. we made an improvement. Had we lost in 6 games, i'd say OK we made in improvement. We lost in 5 games last year 5 games this year . NO improvement.

No excuse for the phillies to be spending 30-40 million more than the dodgers.

The Dodgers are a good team, they just need to make a few, critical changes to the pitching staff and the team will be in the hunt for a championship. The team needs a proven ace like CC Sabathia or a Roy Halladay. John Lackey is going to be a free agent and would be an excellent addition to the team. Colleti is going to have to be very aggressive this offseason in terms of getting a big time pitcher in here. As far as the rest of the roster...

no improvement..............the only satisfaction you can take from this year is you got to anticipate 8 more dodger games again at the end season and we got to feel 15 times more better for ourselves during the reg season. You mean to tell me you actually believed we were built to go to the world series this year against the phils (Who added another ace pitcher in Lee and another power guy in ibanez) 1)by merely adding a starting pitcher that...
