Im thinking 9-12 months

In all seriousness, probably close to 3 years. And you have to be dedicated EVERY day. I remember readinf in FLEX a few years back, Milos Sarcev said anyone could be a serious bodybuilder in 3-4 years. Yes, you could be in great shape in a year, but as someone already said, competing is a different game. I'm FAR from a bodybuilder, but I do know competing is much more than being in shape.
