I have a few pistol caliber cans, Evo 9mm and Outback II. When I started shooing a few years ago, I shoot only indoors. The cans made a huge difference. But now that I am shooting outdoors, while they do quiet the gun, it is not as noticable as indoors. I have recently aquired my first rifle, a LWRC M6A2 in 5.56/.223. I run 7.62 SD's on my AR rifles.... I SBR'd mine....the 11.5 inch barrel on the AR with the 7.62SD is plenty quiet, and it balances well on the SBR..on a 16 inch barrel it seems pretty muzzle heavy to me...

I have an '07 SD on my FAL with 11.5" & 17,5" barrels, I find it quite usefull. Though gas blowback is present.
