The easiest way would be to insert a new key frame in 'man' movie clip, and then place the 'woman' in the new key frame. You can use the gotoAndStop() method with the hit test.

Firstly thanks for giving this question your time - really really appreciated. This is how I interperated your advice - as you can see I don't really get AS. Made the man MC. Double clicked to get inside "man". Inside "man" made "woman" on new key frame sitting directly above "man". Put a layer in so I could place a frame label on the "woman" key frame called "woman"....

My only problem is that for some unknown reason my version of Flash won't open files that are compressed - even after I have unzipped them - tried everything!
