Thread: The "too big for your jeans" support group thread

Started 6 months, 2 weeks ago by funkygroove
So I put on about 10 lbs of muscle in the last couple of months and now my Ande Whalls are a bit too tight in the thighs...god even knows what will happen if I wash them or grow more. Anyone else have any troubles with your weight gains conflicting with your fitted clothing fetish? -FG

My thighs are gigantic for my body. I have my share of problems with tight jeans

Normally athletic legs in tighter fitting clothing look fine, and the jeans may stretch a bit more to them in time. The issue in terms of aesthetics comes when there's fat on your inner thigh mixed with huge legs, and then things get a little tight in a less than flattering way. But I'm waiting to do the majority of my clothes shopping until the end of summer just for this reason.

I just put on my new standards today for the first time in a few weeks...and took them off again. Squats and deadlifts have given me an ass for the first time in my life.

this could also be a good threak to advertise used jeans that no longer fit.

Obviously weight gain conflicts with fitted clothing, and that's why I ignore all the H&B eat-more-protein advice; I like myself as is, and my clothes fit.

Yup, this is happening to me. I'm happy I've been staying consistent enough with my eating to make some real gains at the gym, but it sucks to be growing out of all my clothing. I think the best way for me to rationalize it is to think that it's a great excuse to start fresh and buy only the clothes that I know I will like and wear, now that I've had a couple years of experience with this hobby. I'm going to have to...

My thighs are pretty average (certainly not skinny), but I've got a sprinter's ass. I buy pants and jeans that fit my ass and have the waist taken in to fit my waist. It is easier for dress pants with the curtained waist band, but jeans can be taken in too and can be done so that it's barely noticeable.

Squats + deadlifts + fat + Skull 5010xx = Expect me to post here again soon detailing how I popped half the stitching while attempting to tie my shoe.

I had been off my regular workout schedule, just coming back onto it for almost a month now. That said, my clothes don't fit right anymore...it ain't because the muscle in my thighs are too big...its because I haven't burned the fat I had gained on my legs, backside and stomach. I never had that problem when I had been consistant workout. In short, more likely other folks have the same issue.

Hellllllllz yeah! I have a 31.5" waist...gets down to about 29.5" at belly button right now...but 24" thighs. Maintaining about 8% bf. Flathead F380's are working out decent for me right now, still baggy in the waist though. I do agree with Kunk on the fact that a lot of you guys are just holding fat. Seriously, get on a diet. and for the clowns saying 'What are big thighs good for'.........I'd...
