To follow-up from a previous thread. This whole "I'm a cougar! WOO HOO!" mythology is rather...well...laughable. You can't listen to half the women here without them claiming about how HOT they are that they can land guys 10-20 years younger, as a counter-point to the stinging rejection of men their own age.
While at the same time putting down men who date younger women!
While I ...
I'd never seen/heard of cougars before my ex-wife became one and cheated/left me for him eight years ago.
They've been married ever since and seem happy, although it's a curiosity factor I have to admit, b/c she has not aged well, and he's still young enough and physically able to pull early/mid 20somethings if he wanted to.
I think for the most part, cougars (and they are out there...
I agree. There are SOME. I just don't think there are THAT many -- it goes against what most women are really about and really want. It's like some women want to act like men. I don't think that speaks for very many of them.
While I've always understood at least the temporary appeal (they, too, will age) of younger women, I've never understood the younger man angle. Maybe it's that I helped raise my brothers who are now in their mid- twenties. The thought of being sexual with one of their friends turns my stomach a little.
I've always partnered with men my age or older, and have always pictured a "cougar" as...
This is exactly the image I have. Attractive with a nice figure, but sort of "weathered."
I don't get it. For my whole life, I have only been attracted to older men -- as in about ten years older. This goes all the way back to middle school, though admittedly, I wasn't pulling any 22yo men when I was 12.
anyone here have Sirius or XM?? Ever listen to Jane Pratt? Her talk show? She frequently likes to giggle with the other women on the show about she is a cougar and how cool they all think that is. And how divine it is. blah blah blah.
It is, in fact, SO self-congratulatory, and in a very smirky anti-male sorta way, it made me sort of suspicious.
So I looked up her picture. ...
I have no idea what Jane Pratt looks like, nor do I listen to her show, but back in the 90s she had a magazine called Jane. I did enjoy the magazine. In addition to the girly fluff, there was always at least one article about a social cause. For instance, that is how I learned about female circumcision. It was rare to find that consistently in magazines targeted at women.
I know. ...
nah, Rex. I think female circumcision is when they got their little pleasure button OFF.
A little different than just getting rid of the unnecessary skin around ours...
good thread question though...any women out there who LIKE guys to be uncircumcised?
Gia wrote: thanks, JT but according to courtney cox, i qualify as "cougar age". but the point of my latest post was that I had plenty of men my age looking at me or trying to engage with me. You kind of made it sound like women my age were not attractive to men of the same age and that's why we go for "younger". (collectively speaking) like i said in an earlier post, i would never in a million years...
We're into high school girls first then the age 18 hits and you have to re-adjust your senses since you don't want to be a pedo or anything
At least in California, they don't go after 18 year old guys who go out with 16-17 year old girls. When I was 16, I dated 18 - and so did *everyone else I knew*. At 17, dated 20. This was pretty normal. Nobody's PARENTS even thought...

It's inevitable the young chicks will because dahling you're hawt, but wondered if the cougars...
JT, although I'm annoyed by your remarks that imply that women over 40 are generally repulsive and of course women over the age of 50 like me are even more revolting, I gotta admit, I share your disdain for braggarts.
