Lucy in person? Amazing...wonderful...sweet...generous, kind. Funny! I've seen her several times in person. She loves to poke fun at herself, be silly and goof off. Maybe there aren't a lot of people around here who have met her in person? I haven't actually "met" her, only seen her appearances at cons. I had a photo op with her so that felt good, and she called me pretty girl so I will always remember that. She's very nice and I love how she seems to love her fans--they love her so she loves them in return. Xenasgrrl pretty much summed it up nicely....

Yes, I agree that most people have not actually "met" Lucy. I've been lucky enough to have had a photo op with her in Chicago, which she was doing for charity. I remember not knowing what to say to her when it was time for my photo so naturally I said something calm and collected like..."come to daddy!" I haven't met any of the actors, but I've heard both good and really bad stories about Lucy. But I doubt you'll find any of those around, they are usually tabu, some fans tend to get pretty agressive when it comes to talking about LL. Thankfully, haven't seen that going on here -so far.

I don't understand why you say it would be about time when she was there just last year. But um yeah...I hope she gets back to Europe sometime, for everyone sake over there. I'm sure that would be nice.

Aww thank you so much! Today I'm gonna try and email the Lucy Lawless Fanclub and ask what to do. Lucy seems like a very nice person and I can't wait to see what she thinks about my art haha

Me and some other italians wrote some emails to Adam asking him if Lucy is going to come back to Europe, and he said not anytime soon. This was before Lucy went to NZ. I hope she will come back one day.

I enjoy Lucy as a person but am still more interested in the character she plays rather than her as a person. And that has nothing to do with her as a person, of course just that I find myself attaching to fictional characters more so than real people. (maybe that makes me lame ) Seriously, though, the impressions I've got from seeing her in person has been a great experience for me that I won't soon forgot, if ever forget and...

When I watched the show the first time, I didn't know anything about any of the actors and immediately became a Xena fan. Since then, getting to learn about all those involved, especially Lucy, I can't help watching it with all that knowledge at the back of my mind. Obviously, it wouldn't be natural to want to stay ignorant about the actors, but in a way, I wish I could be able to forget all that, and be immersed in the story...
