Started 8 months, 2 weeks ago by jboothmillard
The title speaks for itself. The last film you watched that you would put in your Must See list, and that you would recommend to others. One by one, I will be listing all of mine (in order of when I added them to my account), it would be cool if you would do the same. So it begins... Batman (1989) One of the finest films directed by Tim Burton, a great Michael Keaton and a ...

Drunken Angel (1948) An underrated gem directed by Akira Kurosawa. It is now my second favourite Kurosawa movie after Seven Samurai . " WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM???!!!!! "

Fly Away Home(1996) One of the easiest 10/10s I have given recently. Also The Last Samurai(2003) 9/10, only let down by the idealism getting too much at times. "Life after death is as improbable as sex after marriage"- Madeleine Kahn(CLUE, 1985)

Ladri di Biciclette (Bicycle Thieves) (1948) - 8/10 This is the first early Italian neorealistic film I've seen. Although it's quite slow-paced during the first half, the second half of the film was very moving. " WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM???!!!!! "

Hello Schoolgirl (2008) (Korean Romantic Comedy) – An eighteen-year-old schoolgirl befriends a thirty-year-old guy, leading both to consider the possibility of a romantic relationship in the future. This film differs considerably from the majority of commercial rom coms because it focuses entirely on “everyday living” with the utmost regard for realism. (There is absolutely no wackiness at all.) One realizes the...
