Thread: The Week that Was in College Football - Week 10

Started 4 months, 1 week ago by BoBigRed
So I guess this is the place where I come out and pimp my Blackshirts and my team to the max. Well, sorry but I'm not going to do that. We're still as average after this game as we were before it. I'll preface this recap by saying that it's not over yet. we could still blow it in Lawrence next week - or could blow it against K-state at home and be right back at square one. Now that ...

Insightful summary, as always. It's been interesting comparing Colt's numbers with Andy Dalton at TCU - they're pretty similar this season. I'm not sure where Keenum fits into that as his gaudy stats are obviously partly a result of their system - but he's obviously hella talented. Either way, we're blessed with some great QBs here in the Lone Star State.

Good stuff, and congrats on beating the Sooners. Helu, Jr. looks like a freak. Take care of business and it looks like we'll see you in Dallas.

yeah. Pornstache threw 5 INT's. Nebraska's Dline took me back to the days of Chris Simms throwing right into the defensive lines hands. I think most of the INT's came off tipped passes at the line.

That dude was swimming through OU's Oline all night. I was impressed how smooth a big guy like that could move. NFL here I come. So I don't know if it was all that lucky. It ...

I don't know which is better, beating OU or beating OU AND the refs. I'm sure there a legion of SEC fans who would like to be able to answer that from experience. So far though, I think it's Zebras 4, SEC chumps 0.

I'd say the props go to Paul Johnson, not Nesbitt. At the end of the day, it's the coach's decision and Johnson didn't have a second thought about what to do there. It was gutsy as hell and it worked. Jon Dwyer is also a freaking beast with 23 carries and 189 yards yesterday. I honestly believe he's the best running back in the country and that's a completely homer opinion.
