Yes, McCain's speech was excellent and generous. I hope we really can be the UNITED States instead of a conglomeration of "Red" and "Blue" states. With all the problems facing us, we need to pull together.

The convention was so amazing! I even shed a few tears myself. heh. The Clintons rocked it! I knew they would. Hillary did so great and Bill said it greater but in less words. Loved Obama's speech and so happy that he does get it.

Thanks for reviving this thread, trinaren. I'd'a missed it otherwise. Yes, I am another Canadian liberal hippie. I even found a place where there are more of our kind living, so I'm not considered strange.

AND, I must say that I was VERY impressed by Mr. McCain's concession speech...VERY gracious and humble AND I feel confident that EVERYONE can get along and get work done...BUT (Oh, I have to say it...). GO OBAMA!!!!
