I wanted to comment on the second trailer (not the one I posted) and say that it gives a better representation of how the movie is. I didn't like the start of the first trailer, showing all the natural disasters and whatnot, which aren't even in the movie. So I just thought I'd throw in my two cents, although some of it might give away certain parts for people who haven't read the book.

I can't wait for this flick! I freaking loved the novel and I agree with JB. The first trailer really dissapointed me as well. But I heard I shouldnt watch the 2nd trailer cuz it gives a better description of the flick but also gives a lot away too. I'm hoping for the best!

are you the new matrix/maul iver? seems you enjoy everything...

I thought the Maul/Matrix thing (sorry to bring them into it but you brought it up) was handing out 10/10s a lot. Looking at the scores I've given out I've had one 10/10 this year. Just because I've seen 7 movies in the past week and a few have been some of the best that I've seen this year (I've only seen 25), while some have been given rather good scores doesn't mean I enjoy every movie that ...

Really interested in seeing this. I'm on this big post-apocalyptic movie kick recently for some reason. Just kind of fun.

Oh yeah, and I really want to see this. I loved the Proposition and I'm interested to see what John Hillcoat does here.

reviews for this are really mediocre. fitting they filmed a lot of it in the pennsylvania woods, pa gets more gray days than anywhere in the united states.

Saw this finally tonight with some friends. It was different than I thought it would be, but I really appreciated the fact that it stuck true to what apocalyptic life would be like. This is a no-holds-barred movie that doesn't sugar coat anything and doesn't take the glamorous Hollywood pleaser rout. It is what it is, and it's a damn depressing but extremely awakening movie. I do have to agree with the comments about...
