Thread: The Revenge of unellmay

Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by Aion
As you may or may not be aware, our good friend unellmay has been torturing the users of UK Anime since his ban from our forum. See here for his posts: http://www.uk-anime.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=3 2 Hanners is trying to be like Rui and is going to suffer as a result. Also, on a unellmay related note, he just sent me a surprise MAL message. It made me remember why...

It would be even deader there if it wasn't for unellmay... Better link . Hey, how come people who are on both forums are more active on that forum? And how come some people who used to post here now post there?

For a long time, I've thought there should only be one UK anime forum. There just aren't enough fans to go around. But, for reasons unknown, the users are split between the sites. The reason UKA is slightly less dead is simple: their site is better, with more reviews and all the rest. Their community also strikes me as being tighter. There's not much in it, but AUKN has grown to be ...

In all fairness though aion, theres only so much you can say about anime. And theres so many shows out there its hard finding enough people who have seen the same anime to keep a topic going. So we come check out the anime news, see whats new, see whats good and chat to like minded people about other stuff... I understand ur frustration with an anime site not really discussing anime as ...

Christ Aion, and you accuse me of moaning like a woman. Your above post sounds very much like "You don't pay enough attention to me so why should I stick around?" Aion, your review of Only Yesterday was very good. I liked that film a lot too, which we talked about a little in the other thread where you brought it up. And it's also been on television which has been discussed in another ...

Oceans Wave. It hasn't got an American release, and it's out for the first time in Europe early next year, with Ponyo. Attention I can live without, but a forum where there's no discussion because of a lack of communication? That's not somewhere to post a lot. I tried, making 100's of posts per month, but I reached my limit.

ayase replied 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Ah, sorry. I'm having delusions again. Okay then, I haven't seen that one because I'm waiting for the DVD. I try to discuss things when I can, but I can only talk when I have something to say. Perhaps if you'd left it until release time you might have gotten more of a response.

I always thought it was busier here & that the community here was better tbh. I'm a regular on UKA too. I've also been trying to get unellmay to behave, because I can see he is bugging some people there.....

Gundam kidnappings never work Ryo. Someone here will fall for the captive and let them escape or worse still, defect.

My affection for the TTGL tard, in a paragraph: Quote: The guy is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most stupid person I've encountered in my eight or so years on the worldwide thingymajig. And I mean that. He'll attempt to throw his inane jibberish at you time and time again if you ever post in his direction. In order to get away from him because no-one would ban him, I tried to get myself banned by first intructing him how to...

We have a bigger community than UK A, Aoin is just judging both forums by their anime section & not the forum as a whole. Ironic that Aoin should leave here to join unellmay's new haunt. XD

The majority of AUKN who post regularly don't watch anime religiously and have lives, bro. The ones who you want to discuss series with rarely post and just lurk.

lol gotta say, Aion and CG have both complained about the AUKN forums regarding general chats rather than being solely devoted to Anime discussion. One thing i'm going to say is.....That's not healthy mate. I've spoken to you about Anime, asked for advice on what would be worth watching and what wouldn't. and after that i spoke to you generally, how's life and that sort of business. It's not a bad thing to just...

Indeed. Once we find others who share our condition, we're tempted to discuss with them all the other marvellous things worthy of discourse.
