I am not an expert in physics or biology, but I doubt, that a human would survive it to get catched after he get thrown very high in the air as it happened to Michel by Hancock.
He probably wouldn't even have survived the throw up moving as fast as he was.

"but I doubt a human would survive"
. . . without at least wetting his pants.
I liked the sequence. Good experience for a bully.

Thanks for your answer. Yes, a good lecture, but I think, in reality, Hancock´s catching hand would hurt Michel.
By the way: Was the boy played by the actor of young Michael Meyer´s in the "Halloween"-remake? He looks juyt like him.
(I know, I can check it out, but I also wanted to mention it here.)

Thanks for your answer. The perfect casting choice. If this is the beginning of a typecasting career? (But maybe he´ll look more harmless, when get older.)
As long as somebody catches you, and you don't hit the ground, you're fine. At least in movie-land. This happens a lot in movies, I guess it'd ruin the heroism if the hero caught the person only to accidentally kill them. It gets a little disturbing when this is done with infants, like in Blade 3 and Hellboy 2, where you can apparently toss babies around like ragdolls and they'll be perfectly ...

Hey, sorry that I´m German and that my English is not perfect.
At least I speak a foreign language. Do you?
If your not German yourself: Go try to learn our complicated verb forms! Good luck!
And why do you make such fuzz about all that? Why should I not survive my comment? What´s so bad about it? For me, arrogant people like you attacking fellowbeings for nothing and mocking about grammar are...
I didn't feel I had too much more to add, but I'm actually inspired to take another look since you're interested. I'll respond again a little later when I have more time.
by - andreas-schmidt-pabst on Mon Mar 30 2009 03:58:27 Thank you for your answer. Maybe I really made a little overkill. If you really only made fun, I want to apologize. Our quarrel and our making up (Do you say so?) now, reminds me of a quote of Spinoza. It goes something like: "Peace arosen from hate is stronger than peace, that has never known hate." P.S.: We do not have nazis in our government (at least not in the...

well, with super speed, super reflexes, super strength, he could feasibly dispel all of the kids momentum by fractionally allowing him to fall slower after he caught her. As in, once he caught him, he cradles him. It would be barely noticeable by those without super everything.
