So why does she take things in her own direction? Why do we end up in unnecessary fights because of people from the U.K. who aren't reallly that white? Is it because they're famous? I just meant in general because I'm tired of people telling me I can't be white. It's easily his sort of thing. Too easily, IMO, it would be heartening to see him challenge himself again ala Ed Wood and Big Fish.

How about he did an adaptation of that? Johnny Depp as Quasimodo and Alan Rickman as the evil man who takes care of him. Wouldn't that be epic?

I'd have to disagree about Helena as Esmerelda. I can see Burton twisting the character into some sort of weird gypsy woman as opposed to the dancing beauty we know traditionally. She'd trick people instead of dancing for them or something along those lines. That'd be right up her alley. --------- I'm a paranoid schizophrenic; I'm my own entourage.
