What's your favorite funny movie? I'm not talking high-art I'm talking what movie made you laugh the loudest and the most often.
Recent comedies aren't really sticking in my mind right now so I'm going to have to go with what me laugh the most when I was younger:
ACE VENTURA: WHEN NATURE CALLS!
It's an incredibly stupid movie, but it's also the high point of Jim Carey as a comedian ...

NO movie I've ever seen prepared me for that. I have never served in the military, never seen such horror in my (real) life. That scene had me in tears ...
Re: Your Favorite Summer '09 Movies
Top ten? Coming up with 5 would be being too kind.
Great: None. None that I saw, anyway.
Good:
Inglourious Basterds, it's not great because it's largely Tarantino doing his usual thing just changing time periods .
Terminator Salvation, I'm being generous here. Probably. It was ...
Re: Your Favorite Summer '09 Movies
Star Trek and Up were all I saw. That's pretty much my normal summer movie-going schedule. I would have seen Moon but it was out of the theaters altogether before I made time for it.

As a dude that never fully got into the series as a whole, I have to say that after 6 eps of season five, I'm fascinated.

Re: Weeds Season 5 Finale *Spoilers*
Yeah Celia was an awesome character in the beginning and then everythnig about her fell apart, just like the show itself. Now that Nancy isn't dealing they make Celia Nancy?
I must say, I wasn't shocked that much. The episode was incredibly boring and not at all funny, like most of this ...

Yes. Yes, it absolutely was . It was the cinematic equivalent of a four-hour-long high school play, with characters walking around delivering insipid soliloquy after soliloquy, with random idiotic bits of dialogue like Jeff Daniels...

Re: 2009 in Film - A Retrospective I just saw Land of the Lost and Knowing. Knowing gets my award for coolest ending that was better than the entire movie. Land of the Lost is the worst movie of the year. __________________ Favorite Movies of 2009: Star Trek, Inglorious Basterds, Last House on the Left, Paranormal Activity, Sunshine Cleaning, 500 Days of Summer, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Re: Mythbusters - "Unarmed and Unharmed." ^I think DrummerBoy was saying that he wanted a test of whether it was plausible for the bus to remain at a speed above 50 MPH following the moment of its landing. That's a good question, actually; if you recall, the "Hit the Ground Running" myth showed that when a vehicle hits the ground with its wheels racing, it doesn't instantly take off at the...

Bill Lawerence requested to ABC that they changed the name to the show with Scrubs Interns or Scrubs Med School being two options, however ABC declined. Bill has told fans to consider season 9 a new show and seperate from the old show. I like the name Scrubs: Med School and felt advertising it properly as a new show would of brought in new viewers and maybe we could of had a 4 year show minimum but now I see season 9 or 10 being the tops.
