Hello all my crazy Canucks! Ladies....we need you all to put your names on our new role call list here. Being still a relative newcomer I feel it is important to be able to find other women from canada in one place. For newcomers it is somewhere they can come to find someone they need to ask a made in canada only question. Our Canadian threads are getting old and tired and seldom ...

Another Canadian signing up! I've been reading this board for a year now and yes, the Canadian one is kind of slow. I'm from Eastern Ontario. Nan ,

Hello! I'm Canadian, formerly from Alberta, now living in the Washington, DC area. I worked in the Canadian healthcare system for years - in radiology, and ironically, several years in mammography. Recently diagnosed with DCIS in my left breast, I am currently in the middle of investigating a second suspcious area in the same breast. I had an MRI biopsy yesterday and will find out my results...

Hello ladies ... Laura from Victoria, BC here... yeh, I do notice the USA stuff a lot and it is sometimes hard to relate. We seem to have different chemo cocktail acronyms - although I'm sure much the same poison at the end of the day - ha !!!
I've just finished my 5th of 6 scheduled chemo treatments - a regime called FECD for me. Then, I'm due for radiation.
Nice to know that none of us...
( Hi guys: I sure would love to join you but the date just doesn't work for me. But I'm hoping that next spring I can host you down here \(you know, that lovely little historic, scenic town just up the road from the Falls \) for a potluck lunch. Think about it! Have a jolly dinner at the Keg. I'll be thinking of you! Cheers, Linda , )
( Thanks for the advice. I'll call my GP today, and set up an apt to get a shot. My oldest daughter \(7\) has asthma, so I think she is at risk too. , )
( 10 days - not too long - I can imagine why you would have mixed emotions about the move - especially arriving just in time for an Ottawa winter. Welcome \(almost\) home! , )
( There is a Keg at Yonge and Sheppard too, with parking. And it is on the Subway, and just off the 401. It is just down the street from me. Not as nice at the one at Yonge and Eg, but it would be OK, if being further north would suit people more. There is also a nice Spring Rolls here, a Boston pizza, a Milestones, a Moxies, a Moulin Rouge and numerous smaller restaurants. I am about a 10 minute walk from the corner, anyone would be welcome...
