I'm going to hate myself in the morning, but I've been working on my novelette that (in part, thanks to Aggy) required some rewrite. I changed the "public service announcement" just for you Aggy. It's going to have to wait until tomorrow for finishing and posting. Too stupid tired tonight.

The dirty stuff is fun. I get lost in it. And stretching too thin is a problem. About six months ago, I swore off new story lines until I finish my completed novel (for the seventh time - I hate edits). The problem for me is that my overall production slowed way down when I did that.

I got 1k done on my novel tonight. And I retyped/revised and finished a SF short last night (5200 words). And I'm considering revisions and further chapters for the UF/erotica experiment. I think I've started to stretch myself too thin. And I'm dithering. I keep checking all my SYW posts to see if I've gotten any more feedback to push me along. *sigh* The dirty stuff is just so much more fun ...

And as a starter - I haven't gotten a thing worked out on my own WIP, but I keep reading great stuff by others. And I still haven't heard back on the pieces that are out.

Yippee! Thank you. So, how many have you got out? What genres? Anyone else? I have the whole weekend to myself and hope to get something done. My husband and youngest son are flying to Albuquerque to buy a car. I hope it doesn't turn out to be a big disappointment. They may be driving a $500 clunker home if that happens. Hopefully it will be a trip to remember (in a good way.)

The trip to remember is worth $500. I've got one piece out with Strange Horizons - SFF. I am trying to complete a rewrite of my novel, and trying not to forget about two pieces that are both about 40K deep. On top of that, I have about twenty pieces I'd like to work on from our practice threads. And one short that's at about 7K and needs to be cut to 5K.
