Thread: The Beatles Finally Going Digital (Not iTunes though)

The Beatles have taken the first move to real digital distribution. In a surprise move, Apple Corps Ltd. and EMI Music announced Tuesday they will release a limited edition of only 30,000 Beatles Stereo USB apples on Dec. 7 in most of the world, except North America, where they will be available Dec. 8. Flac 24bit would be an upgrade from the cds. We'll see.

24 bit? The article says 16MB USB? My 16 bit FLAC files take up around 4GB. You'll need a bit more for the video files, so an 8GB flash drive should cover it. I wonder what the mastering's like?
