Thread: Tension Spring on Parking Brake Linkage on JD 170

Have JD 170, man. trans., w/14 hp Kawi. Today, I had to replace the vent hose on top of gas tank. Old hose was cracked and leaking fuel. I removed the fenders/seat assembly to access the top of the tank. I noticed in the process that a spring (about 3-1/2") had fallen off (?) the parking brake linkage. Does anyone know where I should re-connect this spring? It seems that there should be ...

Issue resolved. No response necessary. Looked at the parking brake linkage on a JD 160 at local dealer and saw how spring is attached. Jim
