Hi All hope someone can help me with this
On 13th October I declared a change of circs to tax credits, I let them know I'd moved in with my partner, they immediately ceased my payments and sent out a new claim form. On 19th October I posted the claim form back special delivery.
A week later I called to see they had it and were processing the claim. The operator told me it could be 14 ...
Hun I am in he same situation and they have told me that they canno offer any assistance until the form is actually scanned on the system, its really annoying because I dont see myself getting tax credits until decemeber and i sent off the form in early october
Hi All, sorry to bring this up again. Phoned tax credits office almost every day for a week and they STILL can't even confirm if they received my claim form despite it being sent 19th October. I'm at my wits end and its really getting me down. They keep fobbing me off saying they will escalate it but still nothings happening.
Does anyone know if they have guidelines to work to? I read on the...

They keep "losing" and "not receiving" these forms. They are manipulating their own rules of 14 days to get it on the system and can't make emergency payments unless on the system...
Just to add, I am in a similar situ to you starlight, my partners just started a new job and its 4k less than his last, I don't work because I have a child with disability and suffer from depression and carpal tunnel. All we have coming in is the child allowance and lower rate DLA mobility/Middle rate care.
Partner does not get paid until end of month and even then its only enough to pay the...
