The Food Network, and The Travel Channel are among the few channels I watch these days. They're home to a few guilty pleasures I'd like to share my thoughts on. "Unwrapped": This is the show that got me interested in the Food Network. Nothing, to me, says fun like having Marc Summers talk about, and show us how all our favorite junk food is made. "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives": I've been ...
I remember that one, hehe. He took a similar challenge in Pittsburgh, at Quaker Steak and Lube, with their atomic wing challenge. He was so hot at the end, that he rubbed his face with milk.

Unwrapped is one of my favorites. I also love "Good Eats." Alton Brown lives not too far from my sister and they shop at the same Kroger and Whole Foods Market.
God, I absolutely *LOVE* Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives! I'm thoroughly convinced Guy Fieri has the greatest job on earth... I am a fan of Unwrapped when I am in the mood - mostly I try to stay away from the Food Network, as I get tired of cleaning the drool puddles that amass around my couch...
I dunno if you guys get this in the U.S., but 2 $ Wonderfoods. It's about hawker foods in Singapore, the host hunts down the most popular stalls, interviews their cooks/owners and taste tests. It's in Chinese with English subtitles, but the host & format is just so charming!

Heh. I just saw the Man vs. Food episode where he took the Hot Wings Challenge in Smokeeaters in San Jose. Damn that looked agonizingly painful.
