I need a clarification about the move Roost. I remember reading that if this move is used, the Pokemon loses its Flying-type characteristic until its switched out or the battle ends. But when I was battling a wild Fearow in Platinum, it used Roost, then I used Giga Drain -- but it still caused the usual "not very effective" damage. And (in a different battle) even after I had my Toegekiss use Roost, my opponent's Earthquake...
