Thread: System file checker and XP disc created in Nlite?

Started 3 months, 3 weeks ago by Dano
Need to run system file checker as I'm having a few issues, however the disc I used to install was a custom created using nlite and as such is called WinLite, system file checker as such wont use it, any way around it other than recreating another disc and renaming it?

The easiest way I can think of is disabling System File checker. http://www.overclockersclub.com/guid...emfilecheck er/

so you don't have the original disk at all? i suppose you could copy the i386 folder to your hard drive and then edit the registry so it thinks that is the install path. http://www.theeldergeek.com/specify_...tion_files. htm
