Which sync option are you using? faster sync is recommended (vs. safer sync)

After installing Mac desktop, syncing hangs if my iCal calendar has any repeating appointments. To correct I have had to eliminate all repeating appointments. Any solutions?

My BB is an 8830 running 4.5.0.127 and I'm trying to sync with an iMac 2.4 GHz Intel Core Duo with 2 gigs of Ram that's running 10.6.1. I thought the whole point of Blackberry for Mac was to make life easier... if it doesn't work, it's not easier!

Have you noticed if your calendar entries are being repeated? My syncing also was "hanging", but I think it was because the blackberry was repeating every single calendar appointment I had, rather than matching it with the computer's appointments and making them the same. I have posted this question, but so far, no answers. I just wish iPhone was on Verizon, I would switch in a minute...

I checked but none of my calendar entries are being repeated on the BB. My solution to the problem is not to set-up repeating events on iCal, instead I fool the BB by copying and pasting any event that I want to repeat. So far, this less than efficient solution seems to work but it does defeat the purpose of being organized and efficient through the use of a BB. I will be switching to ...
