Thread: Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, A Straight Story, or Synecdoche, NY

I don't think it's as good as the others but it's still a cracking film. Great finish to a fantastic trilogy. If you like Park Chan-wook i'd recommend seeing Joint Security Area...if you haven't already. Come and play with us Danny. Forever and ever and ever

"Synecdoche" is one of the larger turds I've had to endure in many a year, and while I am not a Park fan would rather watch his film again than have to endure Kaufman's intolerable junk. It's as overly-precious and 'deep' as something written by a depressive adolescent. Synecdoche is an essential viewing for anyone who appreciates artistic movies.
