I've never used anything but 87 octane in my '02 or '04, no pings    It's really all the same gasoline but with different additives, I wouldn't waste my money buying premium but it's not impossible a tank full might improve performance. Guess I'm OLD SCHOOL!  I've used 93 octane in my Lanch since I bought it back in 2001. It has worked fine for me. The cost factor well, I don't drive very far to work. And being old school,  I've always been under the understanding that if you drive short distances you want to be able to burn your fuel clean and keep the injectors clean.  Maybe, I need to get out of the...
