I feel your pain, DW. I was planning on that being the topic of our next User Group meeting. However, since the meeting is this Wednesday, looks like I have to find another topic.

My 2 cents... NO WAY Autodesk is adding it's own text editor (they will need to "add to it" (people will want bells on it) AND support it) so unless Microsoft comes with somekind of API to Wordpad (you might get that). They might do everyone a favor and add Office support... as in, if you have office then the editor uses office API to get you a decent editor.... BUT then they will ...

Seem to recall some "text generator" utility in last years "bonus pack" ... never made much sense to me. Hope this this years offerings are better than that.

C'mon guys, jive with me: Y'all seen that "Roads" mofo sitting there in the Model Categories, large as life, since I don't know when. An ain't no family uses that category. No in-place, no RFT, ...

Would be surprised to get anything MAJOR in this bonus pack - even a text editor or Word/Excel link would be a stretch. Noticed we did not receive the bonus pack till January last time around - I'm not holding my breath.

A bit premature - I take my hat off to the product managers for addressing some grievances of the past. Please lets not fall into the same rut in the future and start excluding functionality from the vertical products once again. Thank you Anthony and Nicholas.

I'd just like to say thanks as well. The funny thing is, in our office people were so much happier with this Bonus Pack than the initial 2010 release. Editing keyboard shortcuts from within the software UI and the Find and Replace Text tool are very popular here.
