Thread: Stock Exhuast Modification

Started 2 months, 3 weeks ago by learning
I remember reading where people were removing one of the silencers on the exhaust and it made the car sound a little more deeper. Has any removed their's, and how do you like the sound??

Something says to me that not many people have decided to go that cheap in terms of re-doing their exhausts. I have a few full cat-back options for the car. Let me know.

i removed the mid muffler and replaced it with straight pipe. it sounds awesome! but if you have a cold air it would sound even better!

Actually there are a lot of things you can remove and replace on the stock exhaust. It is pretty restirctive. There are venders that sell pipes to replace the pre cats, j-pipe, 3rd cat, resonators, and finally cat back exhaust. Lots of hp/torque reaquired.
