Thread: Static Address 9670G

I'm trying to statically address a 9670G. I hit the * to interrupt the DHCP; but then it asks me for a code. No matter what I enter, the phone restarts. Any ideas?

That works, thanks! The phone I have didn't come with manuals and I haven't found much at support.avaya.com Paul

Ya, if you don't search for it you won't find it. That spells CRAFT by the way so you know. Works on all Avaya IP phones I believe unless someone has changed it via the 46xxsettings file.

Right, I found the entry in the 46xxsettings.txt file. I moved the phone to a subnet that has internet access to test the Weather application. The phone is registered now; but I can't get the Weather app to work. I set the DNS and domain name in the 46xxsettings.txt file. I've never used the WML browser on these things. Are there a lot of settings required to get this thing onto the ...

Right, I found the entry in the 46xxsettings.txt file. I moved the phone to a subnet that has internet access to test the Weather application. The phone is registered now; but I can't get the Weather app to work. I set the DNS and domain name in the 46xxsettings.txt file. I've never used the WML browser on these things.
