I wonder if this is normal or perhaps can tend to happen? I don't want my own business or particular experience to be harder on the BF than it really should be, not that it's ever great to have a rough ...

I think it can be tough. Doing your own business is very time consuming. My Mike and I have had a little "tiff" here and there. I don't know if that is common but it is new to both of us and that is frustrating when neither of us know how to proceed on being successful. Hang in there. Keep communicating with each other and it will be alright! Jennifer-

Unfortunately that can be really so.I'm sure in every situation money can spoil people themselves or just relationships between them, that's life

It really helps to be on the same page as far as goals and expectations for each person - the entrepreneur and the one they love. Often we fall in love with someone who balances us out... So while we might be willing to take a risk and a chance on our business ideas, our partners are all about security and stability and can see what we are doing as really scary and perhaps dangerous ...

It's all about compromise and time management. This is normal especially if the two of you spend a lot of time together. Make sure to sill spend time with your husband and at the same time, don't neglect your business. And like others have mentioned, talk to him. I'm sure he'll understand.

Glad to say that my husband is very supportive. He find ways to help me. Starting a business really need lot of time and adjustment so time management is important. Set a working schedule and stick to it. This helps you know when to work and know when to stop working. This way, your BF will not feel that your neglecting him and that you don't have time with him anymore.

So while we might be willing to take a risk and a chance on our business ideas, our partners are all about security and stability and can see what we are doing as really scary and perhaps dangerous and definitely something that can create feelings of anxiety...
