Marc Summers - once said that working on Double Dare was a nightmare. The cast of ALF, namely Max Wright used to hate working on this show. I once used to think that Bill Shatner used to not like Star Trek at one time.

I know that Grant Show has always said he is not exactly happy to be remembered for "Melrose Place" and has in interviews been quoted as being embarrased by the show. and i know that Shannen Doherty has said she feels she is better than doing shows like 90210 which she refers to as "bad soap operas".

From what I understand Ivan Dixon was never a fan of Hogan's Heroes.

Leonard Nimoy once used to hate Star Trek during his "I'm Not Dr. Spock!" period. Doris Roberts said that her time on Remington Steele was a stressful period in her life.

Max Bear wasn't to fond of The Beverly Hillbillies and Adam West for a while didn't want to be known as Batman.

I don't know that all these actors actually "hated" their roles. Many of them resent the fact that they have a difficult time getting other roles in tv and movies because of being typecast. This was the case with Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster), Garry Burghoff (Radar), Max Baer Jr. (Jethro), The Brady Kids, for example, I've heard this applies to.

It was probably because he was fired from the show but I heard that Herve Villechaize became quite bitter about Fantasy Island after he left; going into drunken fits while watching his episodes on tv.
