Article Comments for Stargate Universe: "Earth" Review by Ramsey Isler Summary: I'll admit that this episode surprised me, but in a good way. Looking at the previews, I thought this was going to be another snooze-fest with this show's favorite plot device, the dreaded communication stones. But the writers put a spin on things...
I'm curious to see if it was actually Telford that went to Young's wife, or if Young is already using the stone again. I kind of doubt the latter option.
Despite that Telford is not pretty much irredeemable for the douche move of going back to Young's wife, this was a fantastic episode. There really wasn't one thing that didn't click for me. I'm glad to see it's resonating with others as well now too. Young, Eli, and Rush are some of my favorite characters on TV right now....
Just calling it now. I think Telford is already sleeping with Young's wife and was upset to find himself in the position of Young having sex with her. We'll see next week!
The episode was pretty good other than the absolutely moronic move on Young's part to sleep with his woman while in the body of another man, let alone it being a guy that he has major issues with. Telford and Young's wife being in a relationship is something I didn't think of beforehand, and just assumed Telford was going to pretend he is ...
I didn't buy this episode. Although it had some good parts (the Futurama reference), I can't believe that the military would let Eli and Chloe go out and party at the club with the bodies of two of their top scientists.
@robyull um yes, dude, that was obviously what they were trying to say. also let me just say that ending was so messed up, I was laughing so hard, telford is such an asshole.
Best scene? Eli and his mother. very well done. Worst? Chloe getting drunk and nearly into catfight over ex-boyfriend. I had no idea they were recycling Dawson's Creek scripts.
Gotta admit I wonder about the U.S. military that lets people just wander off with someone else's body to go clubbing, get drunk, have sex, etc....
I was wondering why they are getting their host bodies super drunk? What if they have allergies or some such?Very irresponsible, but I guess truthful considering the stress of possibly dying every day.Rush had me thinking the ship was going kaboom,lol....

I would relate this episode to sleeping pills but I just like a higher pace or at least a more sci-fi like mystery. maybe after they get some of the "character building" out of the way and get a bad guy or to

I find it curious that everyone on here is talking about the sex, and night clubs and such. "Oh no, it's Battlestar..." These aspects of the show were done very well... this episode. But how about the line about the "team that was SUPPOSED to be there??" "Rush can't go home?" "Why was dude locked up?" There is a lot going on... I love it. I love the slow pace....
