Except for the fat kid, which i didnt particularly like. We'll see how it develops.. It's mix between Voyager and SG Atlantis i'd say. New technology and lost in space.

I thought Eli (the fat kid) was the best part of the show.
Anyway I enjoyed this alot more than Atlantis and the last few seasons of SG1.
Hope they keep it up.

I love the series premier, but ep3 was boring as fuck. An hour of wandering around a desert only to be saved by jesus? What a load of shit.
Premier was ace, liked the dark aspect to it and the more dramatic feel. The comedy was getting old but still gonna miss Rodney from the show.
I thought Lou Diamond Philips was going to be in it more though... disappointing there.
Robert Carlyle was, as usual, brilliant.
What was O'Neil though? he looked fucking terrible, fat and pasty white.
That Lt Scott is already ...
Because I'm a lazy asshole, I'll just copy pasta my reply on Nforceyhump
I'm not gonna say the previous SG shows were the best thing made by man, but compared to this one those were gems. The writing is very poor. The humor is just plain bad, it could've been written by a ten year old. The camera moments are also totally useless, one cliche 'thought' after another. The connection to SGC is...
Well the difference between this and other SG shows is there seems to be more of a sense of purpose to what they're doing rather than random plot elements that pop into existence, very similar to the movie in fact... they had to find a way home/survive etc.
Although my woman who's a hardcore SG fan didn't really like Atlantis until about halfway through the first season.
Me, its ...
And that's fine, however I really dislike shows where you absolutely need to see everything to enjoy it. SGU is one of those shows as well it seems, I have seen them all and while I'm not quite enjoying it I'm tolerating it to see if any cool shit comes out of it. A show like Babylon 5 while there was a story arc through the entire thing you could just flip on one show and more than likely it'd be good enough for you to...
It's almost impossible to know what's going on if you've watched BSG only sporadically. So yes, it will be crap that way. _________________ "Fighting for peace is like fucking for virginity."
It hasnt got a patch on battlestar galactica, this show is written far worse and if you don't agree you obviously havent seen much of BSG to begin with. This show is inconsistent and draws conclusions which are not even logical, it just plain sucks
mister_s wrote: This has to be one of the slowest starts for a show I've ever seen. Great way to gain some audience. Where's the fucking red line! It's just one standalone ep after another. Add to that the still crappy drama, and you have shit in your hands. I think the premise, cast and directing is good/great. The writing is just shite. Too bad a show with a shitty script is a shitty show. really? i also find the acting...

Wow, an actual not too bad episode! Okay the time thing has been used before, but I actually liked this episode.. More of this kind of thing is needed if this show is going to avoid being cancelled.
Last episode was so boring I didn't finish it. And I Agree on the stones. I said it a few episodes back to a friends who said he was thinking the same thing. There is no way in hell they would just let these people walk around in a Colonels body as though they were really him. It's actually a ridiculous technology anyway. I'll keep watching but the show is losing me. oh and I cant stand that skinny chick who was doing Yoga. I...
