Started 2 months ago by Kelvin1000
As some of you know I am currently running JB3 1.4 but I also picked up a used PROcede Rev2 Canbus and I am going to do some comparitive street and dyno testing but I have a few questions for you STAGE 3 GUYS USING 93 OCT ONLY . 1) Stage 3 comes with User Torque set to 85% 2) Stage 3 also comes with Ignition Correction set to 100% Since I will be comparing to map 7 which is the ...

I know but just want to get a general idea (particularly in the Ignition Correction). I have seen some logs by Shiv and others where it actually looks like it works well at 50% and even at 0%... (A la JB3...)

i will be stage 3 after sunday. I believe though that the IC should be around 60% if i'm not mistaken. what are your exact mods?

Big Tom replied 2 months ago
User Torque = 88% Ignition Correction = 50% Works very well on my car.

Thank you Mr. Tom! You running 93 otc? I guess I should lower IC first before rasing UT so that it can be more apples to apples versus JB3???

jpsimon replied 2 months ago
datalog... don't just change your settings based one what others have done

Intecooler and Downpipes makes a big difference... I will do datalogs once I learn how (still used to the BT tool) but just want to see what others are running so I can determine a starting range before the Procede arrives. Thanks for the replies, keep them coming!!!

There is a sweet spot for both tunes to activate the bogfix. Just takes a little practice...

This way, maybe the Procede can have a Procede map (1) and a JB3 map (2) sort of speak. Best of both worlds...

If a knock actually happens the ECU will register it as "SuperKnock" and you will never get there besides having some real big issues with the engine in general. The knock sensor sensitivity is set in a way to start pulling timing way before you actually knock. Anyway everybody can see this in different ways but its important to know that the car is not knocking when pulling timings. Think the N54 deserves more credit on its...

Thanks for the info. The autotune feature coming up will be a show stopper that's for sure - can't wait. I run stock UT @80% and I feel my boost is already high enough. I think I'd have to lower gear 1 and 2 UT settings to avoid spikes. Thanks for your thoughts mate
