Thread: Springfield XD 9 Subcompact

i own an xd and i love it, over 17,000rds and still going strong. the cs models are small lightweight and compact compared to the service model, even though they are small they are very accurate and shootable, and the sc that i owned was 100% relible ion over 3,000rds.

What do you guys know about this pistol? Was reading about it tonight in a magazine and just got wondering about it. Also saw on here tonight where was asking about the same pistol in 40 cal. Thought it would be a good time to get any info on the 9mm as well.

I did have a 9mmXDsc, but sold it. Reason, had my service model xd grip cut down to the sc size and it works for me. Also, have the xd40sc, which also is a fine firearm. it fits my hand in the grip, I can release the slide with one hand as I can with all my xd's and it is reliable as well. I have 5 xd's, so I'm a little prejudice. Good luck in your quest.

My wife and I have three of the Springfield XD Sub Compacts in 9x19. Excellent pistols. Very reliable and accurate. Hope this helps. Fred
