There is a discussion going on in Dollar Den (Link here) on what topics/ subject would best serve our membership here on stripperweb.
In the spirit of full disclosure, I've participated in the bantering back and forth on the political side of the discussions as much as anyone else that frequents that forum, but I started thinking about how that is accomplishing little for the stripping ...
I agree with your premise that Dollar Den should be more stripper related. For the longest time, it has simply been thread after thread of negative right wing stuff attacking the government, or predicting imminent doom. It's become entirely useless to anyone, let alone strippers. If you want to get yourself feeling down....read the Dollar Den of Doom. Who needs that?

I know this...that forum as it exists now is unusable. Whenever someone asks a simple question like "What's the best way for me to start saving for retirement, I'm 21 and my income is $XXXX" they get some series of long convoluted overly complicated answers that the original poster will never figure out nor use.
Add in the numerous posts about the dollar falling apart, gold bugs, ad nauseum ...
Yeah I have to agree, I would pay more attention to the Dollar Den if it had more stripping-related threads in it. Most of the time it's threads with two or three people volleying back and forth on a subject that others don't really know too much about....

I am mainly a lurker, like reading the dollarden the way it is there is a lot of good information in there on investing and the investment markets which is affected by government policies, the moderator is doing a great job....

I lurk in dollar den a lot too, and I really like the diversity and depth of the topics. However, it would be nice to see more stripper-related topics. The recent thread about young strippers building credit is a good example of what I think would be helpful to see more of....

I lurk and post in the Dollar Den a lot. I never saw a problem with it's content, but I understand Paris' point about it not being useful to strippers in general. Some of the threads should be in a more specific forum (such as an investment forum)....

^ Yeah, I find most discussions totally unapproachable. The OP will start in a basic place, and 2-3 posts in, I'm going "huuuuh????" charlie61 View Public Profile Find More Posts by charlie61

I borrowed Mel's tinfoil hat, It's the law of unintended consequences. Most of that stuff would have fit better in the Member's Boards area, but that was closed down to reduce some squabbling (I guess), and since the most frequent of those posters also hang out in DD, they have let their political leanings bleed into that forum. Why didn't Obama see this coming?! *Quickly removes hat and returns it* The Following User Says...
