It's not safe. They strongly recommend pregnant women do not use it. Otherwise, it's another matter of vanity and personal choice.

I'd just come across someone else using this. I thought it was interesting. It's like a chemical fire cream without the traditional ingredients and it's not supposed to be permanent. I guess to me a lot of this stuff sounds like people want to say they are natural and love their kinks, coils and curls but still get all that comes with a chemical fire cream...IDK. Kind of like "natural" ...

I think people assume naturals stop getting perms because it's bad for the hair but that they don't necessarily want to wear their hair "nappy." I have had people recommend products that can "make my hair look just as straight as a chemical fire cream without the chemicals." Um, no thanks. I also think it's crazy when I ask people for recommendations for a natural hair stylist, they tell me they...

I goodled to see what this product is. Found this . Sounds like a CFC by another name to me. She can't put clips in her hair becaus it would leave indentations (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif ) Anyway, here she is less then three months later. ETA: clicked on another link, turns out is simply another name for the Brazilian treatment, the one that uses formaldehyde... (IMG: style_...

I'd just come across someone else using this. I thought it was interesting. It's like a chemical fire cream without the traditional ingredients and it's not supposed to be permanent. I guess to me a lot of this stuff sounds like people want to say they are natural and love their kinks, coils and curls but still get all that comes with a chemical fire cream...IDK. Kind of like "natural" relaxers and products...
