There are still a lot of people who get on (a lot of them hackers).  It's a fun game, it used to be my favorite game back when I used to play like every single day.

FTB 3 comes out the week of Thanksgiving here in the States. if i were u, i'd go ahead and buy it then next month--if $$ permits--buy FTB 3. I have every PSP SOCOM game out. (I only wish they'd make a SOCOM Tactical Strike 2)

You might be able to pick a copy of FTB2 for $10 or less in the bargain bin, so i say go for it. At peak times there might be 600-800 people on at a time, even though there used to much larger and friendly userbase than there is now.  FTB3 will cost you no less than $30 brand new when it releases, regardless of whether it's DD or UMD. Wait a couple month and ask people around the forums how it's like online. The only thing i would...
