Redboxed both and enjoyed both ok. Snake Eyes' lip-mask was just f-ed up and distracting to me as well. I thought the overall adventure was fine for a G.I. Joe cartoon-y movie. What pissed me off was the re-writing of the characters' stories to fit some jackass movie cliche where people have to have some sort of relationship. And the nanomites in Baroness's brain really piss me off; why ...

I had a better time watching TF2 than GI Joe. I definitely enjoyed some of the GI Joe action sequences, yet still loved the big robots blowing things up more. Both movies gave me a sence of wonder as I watched the toys from my childhood come to life on the screen.

Sigh, yeah and it'll be a long time before anything replaces it as the dumbest thing I've ever seen too. Man. I think the single largest blunder is the existance of GI Joe without the external threat of Cobra. Once you've got Cobra as a credible threat in the world it makes sense to throw a huge budget at a top secret anti Cobra unit. The Joes themselves just don't make sense....

Just saw it myself. Thought it was entertaining. Didn't really think too hard about anything. Don't regret the two hours spent.

Well, I have to give the GI Joe movie props for one thing... ...It made GI Joe: Resolute look perfect in comparison. Not that it wasn't excellent on its own merits, but the crappy live-action movie probably shut up all the people who criticized Resolute for being too grim and gritty.
