Yer dude is, without a doubt, a little man. He tries to assert his authority with me and it don't work.
I think you'll find this little ditty informative. You probably already had suspicions. Allow me to confirm that your db. is, indeed a little man.

I'm ...
The bassist in my band owns an Aguilar DB750, which has a built in DI. For some home demos, I want to record the DI straight from the head without running it through the cab at all.
My bass player was a little worried because he said he'd heard somewhere that it is bad to turn on a valve amp head without a speaker cabinet plugged in because the energy that the valves produce have no closed ...
It's deadly for a tube powered amp.
Solid state head generally behave well without a cab.
Therefore your DB750 shall be fine.
The user manual will let you know about it most of the time.
It depends on the amp. Probably best to check the manual if you're unsure.
I use my GB Shuttle 6.0 without a cab the odd time. It's easier for recording and late night playing.

You know what? I'm cool with this- which is strange. She's a pretty good singer, the things he could do with her music career boggles the mind. I hope it's a good match and they do some work in the studio together too.
