Thread: So i got a heavy bag stand but the bag hangs too low

Started 3 weeks, 1 day ago by Gomi
any suggestions on how to get it higher? i was thinking of putting some wood blocks of some sort underneath to give it some lift (the stand) since i cant physically alter the stand itself. i need a good 8" lift on it.

First time it was too low as well so I just held it up and tightened the cable some more. I also have some thick tape under the sides of the cable where it rubs on the beam so it doesn't wear out the wood too much you could probably jack it up but ...

Hmm. I never had this problem cause i just hang mine from the ceiling. The problem i see with wood blocks is making the stand rickety and unbalanced. If you had a photo of your stand, it could help.

Just cut one link. You can put it back on later.
