Thread: So I just beat X-com for the first time right now. Minor spoilers ahead!

And for the record..................I FINALLY BEAT THIS GAME WOOHOO!!!! Redemption is mine after like 10 years later. I still remember the first time back then when I realized you could go in alien ships and I was overjoyed at my discovery. Ah those were the days.... SC

I combined Psionics and Blaster Launchers. I found the alien brain not by wireframing but by Mind Controlling everything and establishing MC chains to extend my sight. ._. I'm a terrible person. =D

Or the blaster bomb man, that thing is likewise insane. You can blaster bomb your way to the boss easy too.

"Blaster Launcher" sounds a lot like a "Buster Launcher" from Heavy Metal L-Gaim. For damn good reason.

thats all you need to do seriously to beat the boss. just mind control. once you get your psis up to high level you can take on anything. you read a lot of tips on how people call their characters like 'Cammy Yamasaki HE/SN/ST' (like what they are good at. my bro just split his squad into psis (which he'd call 1, or 1a) and just everyone else ... some of them did like 150 missions with 2 kills LOL
