We got to take the the kids up to Washington DC during their Spring break this past week. I was last there in '93-'94, and a lot of things have changed. Here's a quick, but photo-happy report, mostly from the Natural History Museum. I'm barely scratching the surface of all you can see and learn about. Awesome trip Mike!!!! The rose qtz specimen really caught my attention! AMAZING!!! I've never been there but from what I have been told you can spend a lifetime there if you want to see it all! Great trip for the kids and the "not so kids" too! Thanks,,,, Tom K.

Donald - I thought of you looking at this huge display of a Herkimer pocket. Have you done any spring fishing up there?

yeah I have been fishing but its been kinda slow. I Am thinking about a run to St. Lawrence County this weekend for Uvites if the weather holds Weather report is saying more snow today so we'll see. maybe I'll go to Ellenville instead for some massive galena.

Not just you Jay. I'm using Imageshack as my free image hosting site, and when I checked it from my work computer, I did get a pop-up add with the pic. I've never got one from my home computer though. Donald - We're going to luck out and miss any snow this week, but this weekend looks great for getting out. Wow great pics..thanks for posting..do you see that spec. from the tourmaline queen..man that sucker has got some cools rods coming out of it...ahh good stuff
