You know, it's weird, SeaRiot, but over the months I've had all sorts of odd smells to contend with in my Patriot, too. They seem to just arrive from nowhere, stick around for a day or two then disappear. I wouldn't be at all surprised if I haven't had your smell (well, not exactly your smell, but you know what I mean) at some time or other. where i live we have alot of koalas, the particular species we have are called drop bears and they excreate a smell similar to bananas.....sorry aussie sence of humour getting away from me...teehee

Do you smell it when the a/c is on or off? Or both? Consider yourself lucky, I use to get a smell of-what i like to call- RANCID PISS until I installed an air cabin filter. Hope Im not just masking a bigger problem.
