If you did not do a clean upgrade, please do so; see the third Important topic for instructions. Disable Windows Defender. You can keep SuperAntiSpyware, but please uninstall Spybot > reboot. Try with McAfee Site Advisor and Spywareblaster uninstalled is worthy try, too.

Evening all, Just wondering if anyone can help me out, i recently installed KIS 2010 (9.0.0.736) and have since noticed that my computers start up has slowed down dramatically since the update from KIS 2009. I have uploaded a GSI, can anyone spot any problems, as it used to load up in seconds with 2009. cheers. GSI

Hi, thanks for the info and sorry for the late reply. I did do a clean install/upgrade, i tried all of the above and i still expierienced a slow system start up and extremly slow start up of IE8, eveything was fine before 2010, so i believe this to be the problem, also another thing i have noticed is that both Spybots and Spyware Blasters Immunization Features are really really slow when ...

Please run gsi again and post the new report. If still no go, disable the Java plug-in in IE. You can also try with SuperAntiSpyware on demand only, and with McAfee site advisor uninstalled. Currently, this thread is being maintained on-topic. General discussion posts: Not here, please.
